SVP, Head of Events

What does a successful SVP, Head of Events do at Fiserv?

You will oversee and manage a series of high-profile, strategic executive events throughout the year and a large number of Trade Shows for the company. You will define and strategize a flawless execution to ensure white-glove and consistent experience at every Fiserv event (both internal and external). You will activate our Sponsorship Strategy. This strategic, detail and service-oriented individual will have regular interaction with all levels of Fiserv clients and associates, and will ensure requirements are defined, strategies are aligned, and success metrics are established for every event.

What you will do:

  • Design and create program thematic for a multi-tiered tradeshow portfolio, driving execution of live events with Employees, Consumers and Clients to unlock business growth.

  • Build new-to-Fiserv capability to identify and maximize sponsorship activation to drive new business acquisition and existing customer loyalty.

  • Coordinate all aspects and delivery of the complete sponsorship ticket and suite experience, applying expertise to create customized suite engagement programs for Clients and Prospect with focus on strategic accounts, large revenue deals and relationship-building opportunities.

  • Lead development and activation of Owned Marquee Events (Fiserv Forum, Executive Summits globally, the New York Stock Exchange, and other venues).

  • Lead execution of Executive Internal Meetings: Board of Directors, Management Committee, Client Events, Advisory and Fiserv leadership meetings.

  • Manage the Fiserv Client Experience Center at 4 HQ locations.

  • Build and manage annual calendar system/processes to ensure stakeholders are aware of event details (e.g., event brief, dates, location, goals, speakers)

  • Establish comprehensive set of KPIs, such as event ROI, post-event survey, earned, paid, and owned media impressions.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field

  • 15+ years’ experience of managing large-scale events, conferences, or trade shows

  • 5+ years’ experience managing a direct and matrix team

  • Experience managing external sponsorship opportunities

  • B2C marketing experience

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and work weekends/evenings, as necessary

What would be great to have:

  • MBA or master’s degree

  • Global event management experience
