Fiserv Technology Analyst Program - Bank Solutions - Account Processing in Alpharetta, Georgia

As part of Technology Analyst Program, you will have the opportunity to participate in complicated projects that can have significant outcomes in the business while strengthening the skills fundamental to lead in the FinTech industry. Training curriculum, mentoring, on the job learning, and exposure to senior leadership will be offered in these entry-level opportunities to advance within our company upon completing the two-year program. Summary of Department:

Release management is responsible for the process required to plan, schedule, and control releases from Inception through Deployment. Release activities include planning, preparation, scheduling, training, documentation, communication, and installation of the releases. Metrics team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of metrics crafted in Tableau that our IT and business partners utilize.

Job Description:

The Account Processing Monitoring Team fills the gap between our Enterprise Platform & Tools Teams and Account Processing's teams. We use our expertise to define tool strategy & standards, build artifacts--like dashboards, alerts, and reports—and provide training for operational, technical, and business teams in Account Processing. Our current focus is on rolling out enhanced coverage across our online platforms using a broad set of Application Performance Management, Log Monitoring, Network/Wire Monitoring, and Synthetic Monitoring platforms.

In this role you will:

• Lead requirements gathering exercises with technical, operational, business, and leadership teams across the business unit

• Propose, design, and build monitoring solutions across our toolset which includes Splunk, ExtraHop, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and other platforms

• Collaborate with teammates and Enterprise teams to tackle larger rollouts but will also work on smaller & midsized projects independently

•Gain a familiarity with software development methodologies and some development experience

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a monitoring or software development focused role, project, or academic work

  • Broad familiarity with monitoring frameworks & concepts, especially with Application Performance Monitoring, Log Monitoring, Network/Wire Monitoring, Real User Monitoring, Synthetic Monitoring

  • Experience with one of Splunk or Dynatrace and at least a familiarity with Splunk, Foglight, ExtraHop, Dynatrace, CA ASM, AppDynamics

  • A background in or familiarity with Java and/or .Net from a development standpoint

  • Excellent communications skills and attention to detail; gathering requirements from our customers is a key role for this team.
