Fiserv is seeking a Sr. Project Manager within our Implementation Services team in the Digital Banking Group. This is an exceptional opportunity where you will manage consulting teams and lead billable product implementation, enhancement and/or integration projects. What does a great Project Manager, Advisory do?
Oversee and manage all aspects of billable projects from initiation through delivery. Ensure all projects are completed on time, with quality, within scope and within budget.
As the Sr. PM, you are in a leadership position responsible for the overall project delivery and client satisfaction.
Implement and drive project management best practices for each engagement.
Serve as the liaison between the company and client to ensure successful solution delivery.
Develop WBS, plan for quality, execute the workplan, critical path management, track and assign resources, manage change, provides status updates, create metrics and perform overall management of the project timeline, budget, quality and scope deliverables.
Recommend additional products/services to the client or perform a direct role in designing customized solution specifications as needed.
Basic qualifications for consideration:
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent Project Management work experience
PMP or PgMP certification
7+ years of external, client-facing Project Management experience.
A strong, confident leader able to guide clients and project teams to success
Successful track record implementing external client-facing software implementation and/or software development projects is required
Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in project management processes and methodologies
Proven ability to build and cultivate relationships with external clients and internal business partners
Expertise managing projects in through the full SDLC in Waterfall, Agile and/or Iterative development environments
A creative problem solver
Ability to plan and proactively manage project financials, report progress as required both externally and internally, and ensure profitability according to assigned targets.
Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build consensus and influence across the organization
Proficiency with MS Project and MS Project Office Suite
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
Previous consulting experience is a big plus (e.g., Accenture, KPMG, PWC, etc…)
Previous Program Management experience
Previous experience implementing process and/or project management improvements within a PMO (or similar organization structure)
Online banking or financial industry background
Knowledge of Fiserv products and services
Extensive experience in meeting planning, facilitation, and public speaking
Proficiency with Clarity (or other PM tools), JIRA and ServiceNow a plus
Six Sigma Green or Black belt certification a plus
Travel Required : up to 25%
