Senior Citrix Engineer

What does a successful Senior Citrix Engineer do at Fiserv?

You will be a member of a team that manages Citrix and Microsoft Windows environments running Windows 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022. You will design, deliver, and support the next generation of Citrix infrastructure, as well as assist with other Windows projects to ensure enterprise success.

What you will do:

• Manage and support Active Directory, LDAP directory services, DNS, WINS, DHCP, file and print, VMWare View, Citrix XenApp, VMware ESX and vSphere, SAN, and NAS

• Perform preventive maintenance and necessary patching for Citrix or Microsoft by utilizing WSUS and MECM

• Monitor system status by utilizing available tools such as Splunk and SysEdge

• Support projects and contribute to an after-hours on-call rotation

• Interact extensively with all levels of management, business, and IT

What you will need to have:

• 5+ years of hands-on Windows or Citrix engineering experience in an environment of 200 or more Windows servers

• 4+ years of administration and engineering experience with Active Directory, LDAP Directory services, Domain Name Services (DNS), Windows Internet Name Service (WINS), and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)

• 3+ years of experience in VMWARE ESX, VMWare View, and Terminal Server

• 3+ years of experience in scripting with PowerShell or Python

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

What would be great to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent education, work, and military experience

• Experience with Citrix XenApp 7.15, 1912, and 2023

• Working knowledge of security standards and best practices and experience with regulatory agencies such as PCI and SOX

• Experience with Microsoft Clustering

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, Hawaii, New York or Washington.
