About our Business Unit: Bank Solutions delivers technology products and services for community, regional and large financial institutions, whether they process in-house or through an outsourced service center. This group is responsible for product management and development, service delivery and client support related to the Fiserv bank platforms – Premier, Precision, Cleartouch and Signature. Each comprehensive suite helps clients improve customer service and streamline back-office operations by providing mission-critical banking functionality while also serving as a delivery channel for an array of other advanced, value-adding Fiserv solutions.

What does a great Conversion Analyst do? You will provide management, analysis and consultation to existing clients during application and full bank deconversions. The Conversion Analyst role is important to Fiserv, as clients expect high quality assistance and client service in all of their interactions with Fiserv, even when they are moving to another banking solution. The Conversion Analyst Role is one of the most vital consumer facing products within Premier and Precision, and working in this field will allow you not only deliver ‘best in class’ service to our clients, but also offers exposure to other Premier applications and processes such as deposits, loans and operations.

Essential Job Responsibilities :

  • Analyze and determine deconversion requirements and provide those requirements to appropriate Business Units

  • Perform administrative tasks related to client database records to record deconversion activities

  • Provide consultation to the client before, during and after deconversion

  • Identify client's existing applications and workflows to ensure all data is converted successfully

  • Monitor the status, coordinate, and effectively communicate progress and any potential problems to manager, internal Business Units and Client Partners for awareness and/or resolution

  • Maintain the tools used to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the deconversion process

  • Attend team meetings and work with various levels of Management

  • Perform other related duties and process improvement projects as requested by management

Required Qualifications:

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent Job Related Experience :

  • Minimum three years systems/data analysis in the financial services industry or closely related field Additional Skills/Knowledge :

  • Must be able to make decisions and solve problems that are general in nature and for which there are precedents

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with good follow-up skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems

  • Works well in an environment with firm deadlines and high volume; results oriented

  • Ability to multi-task and adjust schedules to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while working on multiple projects at once

  • Proficient in computer systems and personal computer use

  • Weekend and off hours work and availability is required

Travel Required :

  • Minimal travel required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior software application conversion and/or implementation experience

  • Experience or knowledge of business methods and practices in the financial services industry

  • Strong communication and analytical skills

  • Possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Attentive to detail

  • Proficient in computer systems

  • Experience with SQL
