Fiserv Warehouse Lead in Chesapeake, Virginia

What does a great Warehouse Lead do?

This is an exciting time for you to join our team as a Fiserv Warehouse Lead ! You will work in the Warehouse and will oversee shift operations through scheduling and completing production of projects assigned. This position also assists the card production operations to be in line with standard operating procedures, related regulations, and established policy. 3rd Shift Work Schedule

As a Warehouse Lead, you can look forward to:

  • Receiving on the job paid training and work in a climate-controlled environment.

  • Receiving shipments and sorting them according to packing slips

  • Keep alert to problems that cause delays and errors, and initiate corrective action in a timely manner

  • Following procedures for counting/verifying items and entering items into computerized tracking system

  • Pulling correct inventory to meet internal orders, processing outbound supply orders in a timely manner

  • Performing quality checks

  • Assisting in the training of other employees

  • Participating in the team cross-training

  • Maintaining clean work area

  • Understanding, interpreting and abiding by OSHA regulations

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language

  • Basic computer skills (data entry, PC navigation)

  • Ability to stand 95% of your shift and lift between 20 to 30 pounds

  • Be able, as it is necessary, to climb, stretch, crouch, or kneel

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and time management

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:

  • 12+ months Production Experience in High-Speed Operation or similar

  • A team player that works well with others but can also work independently

  • Use of basic math skills
