Fiserv Electronic Payments business unit requires a talented Client Solutions Consultant to support our Account Executive and Sales teams in the launch of our Integrated Payment Strategy and NOW Network. As a part of Fiserv’s Electronic Payments business unit, the Client Solutions Consultant will have the ability to directly influence the success of our Account Management and Sales teams in the introduction of this breakthrough consumer and small business money movement service to the leading financial institutions in the United States . You will work with a highly talented group of individuals in across our client facing teams, product management and product marketing teams.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in financial services and/or related technology provider to the financial services market and is capable of picking up new knowledge in a short-time frame. You should be a strategic thinker, analytical, detail and results-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic. You need to be a highly motivated self-starter. Prior experience in consumer and small business payment solutions is preferred – particular experience with Bill Pay, P2P, payment card and/or money transfer products is desired.
This individual will be skilled in solutions selling and able to thoroughly understand not only Fiserv Electronic Payment solutions, but also how this fit into the business, technology and marketing strategies of our financial institution clients. This individual will be skilled in working across departments to collaborate with Product Owners, Product Delivery Teams, Project Managers, Marketing, and others to architect ideal solutions for our clients’ adoption of our Integrated Payment Strategy and NOW Network.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Understand Integrated Payment Strategy and NOW network vision and translate the value of these solutions to our financial institution clients.
Regularly partners with Account Executive and Sales teams to present solution to clients and develop proposals for clients’ adoption of the solutions.
Conducts training for client facing teams to drive greater understanding and ability to pitch solutions with confidence.
Able to identify client business requirements and how Fiserv solutions address those requirements and add value.
Interact closely with marketing team to develop needed solution collateral, presentation material and related sales enablement tools.
Work closely with Professional Services team to develop implementation proposals and strategies as well as hand offs post sales close.
Meet specific sales closure goals quarterly.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, and/or related field required.
Job Related Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales support, sales, account management, technical sales and/or sales engineer experience in financial services, ideally with a background of consumer and small business payment solutions.
Demonstrated ability to deliver sales results working through complex sales cycles.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience in bringing new solutions to market and working through complex client environments.Travel Required:• 50-75%
