What does a great Production Support Engineer I do?
In the role of Technical Production Control, Sr., you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will not only work on production support activities like incident, change, problem management but also on certification support for multiple clients. You will be encouraged to develop a keen understanding of our client’s needs, to find and correct flaws and help deliver improvements in a production environment.

You will create production run books, maintain change registers and perform impact analysis for production issues worked upon.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required.
Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
4+ years technical experience
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
At least 4 plus years of experience in Unix, Oracle, Scheduling tools and Java
At least 4 plus years of experience in production support activities, application/platform monitoring
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
Experience and desire to work in a Global Delivery environment
Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics and MoogSoft will be preferred
Hands on experience with incident/change/problem management and ticketing tools like Service Now, Remedy, CA Service Desk etc.
At least 4 plus years of experience in L2/L3 production support activities, application/platform monitoring
