What does a great Production Control Manager do?
You'll be responsible for a Manage Production Control Team in a fast pace environment. You'll provide leadership to a department is responsible for creating job control code and processing schedules in a multi-vendor platform environment that includes both Unisys and IBM platforms. As a leader, you will be expected to work with numerous departments to achieve the highest level of service to our internal and external clients. Production Control is a critical member of the Business Unit Operations Team, and we are proud to be working closely with numerous departments in order to meet our client’s needs.
Production Control Manager Responsibilities:
Your number one responsibility will be to work closely with your staff and provide strong and positive leadership. In addition, you'll be responsible for finding creative ways to help staff grow in areas of knowledge and responsibility and empower associates to find better ways for coding. We need someone who can empower the team in making informed decisions, communicating effectively and reinforce strong teamwork ethic.
The Production Control Team works closely with all departments, therefore good communication, cooperation, and ability to achieve successful deliverables are imperative.
We need someone who has:
Solid organizational skills
Good communication both verbal and written
Ability to promote teamwork and foster a good working environment for the team
The drive, heart and ability to help every team member succeed
Ability to reinforce the team's effort to further company goals concerning productivity, safety, quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration :
Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma/GED
Minimum 2 years of people management experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a dynamic, high volume IT production environment and understanding of programming logic concepts
Minimum of five years’ experience UNISYS and/or IBM experience
Prioritizing work assignments based on deadlines
Project management experience
Research, analysis, and define solutions to drive productivity on your shift
Ability to work in a matrix environment
Experience operating a computer workstation
Deep knowledge of IT production operation
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education
Banking and financial industry experience
Premier Software experience
