What does a successful Technical Automation Engineer do?
You, as a Technical Quality Assurance Professional will implement manual and automated tests to ensure that our product meets the functional requirements of each feature and, thereby, ensuring that features are working as intended which, in turn, improves customer satisfaction. You will be part of an experienced and competent team using agile practices to determine and meet customer needs. As a Technical Quality Assurance Professional, you can look forward to working with clients, product managers and other team members to determine success criteria for every enhancement, and then do the work to validate that all of those criteria have been met. You will develop a strong understanding of the banking industry while honing and expanding programming and testing skills. Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Familiar with basic banking principles
• Detail oriented
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• .NET experience
• 2 years of experience creating automated tests and working with testing frameworks such as Selenium.
• Prior experience as a bank employee
• Experience with Selenium
Travel required: Required travel will be minimal but may be necessary occasionally.
What does an Exceptional Production Java Software Engineer, Advisory do?
As an Advisory level Production Java Application Support Engineer, you are responsible for leading a team in diagnosing and fixing operational issues with our high demand commercial cash management applications. This is an application development engineering role where you have the ability to design technical solutions in order to provide remedies through code fixes, data adjustments, or process workarounds. You will supervise a team of production support engineers to deliver high quality service experiences to our clients. You will work closely with our support, implementations, and operations teams to help drive customer satisfaction and manage other production support engineers. You will develop a deep understanding of our product and architecture as well as payments processing and banking to find and correct flaws and deliver improvements in our applications. Help drive process improvements in development and operations as well as interact with customers and executives to offer root cause analysis and explanations of a technical nature. In this role, you will be included in after hours support rotations for software releases and upgrades as well as incidents and support escalations.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
5+ years of experience with Java and Object-Oriented Programming
Experience operating and supporting critical business applications
Create process improvements and workflow to facilitate problem resolution with speed and accuracy
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve application issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience leading a team of engineers with overall responsibility for resolution of assigned issues
Ability to make quick critical decisions to manage production incidents
Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail
Experience in managing client and stakeholder expectations and resolution commitments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience
Java / Groovy or other JVM languages
SQL with JDBC and Hibernate/JPA
Spring Framework and related technologies
SOAP and REST web services
Experience with Linux / Unix environments
Experience with TLS cryptography and certificate management in Java
Git version control
Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:
Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries
Container and cloud deployment platforms such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Cloud Foundry
Unit testing and continuous integration
